This is a math lesson plan I designed based off a Kindergarten math curriculum book. This is just one lesson, that is part of a four lesson unit that my teaching partners and I will be teaching to kindergarteners at Rogers Elementary in Bloomington, IN. This lesson plan meets kindergarten Indiana math standards and includes options to differentiate the activities based on student needs.
Case study | 5th grade lesson plan series

This is a set of lesson plans I designed specifically for a 5th grade case study student during my junior year at Indiana University. When I first met with the student I completed both a reading and writing assessment to see what her needs were. Then, each week I created a different lesson plan that would build off the previous one. This Student Literacy Project is a portfolio of 6 of my most effective lesson plans and my reasoning behind why I chose them and why they were successful.
Weather | 2nd grade Music lesson plan

This is a lesson plan I created during my music education course during my junior year at Indiana University. I designed this lesson plan to be part of a comprehensive unit that taught science and weather standards using music. This lesson meets the Indiana 2nd grade standards for both music and science. This is a great lesson plan for differentiation because I incorporated Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences, meaning students have the opportunity to learn in several different ways.

This is a lesson plan I created during my physical education course during my sophomore year at Indiana University. I designed and taught this lesson at St. Charles Catholic Elementary School in Bloomington, IN. This lesson meets the Indiana 5th grade physical education standards and focuses on keeping students active as much as possible.
